Refining a premium Australian ceramics brand with clarity, consistency, and creative direction.
Problem
Elph Ceramics had established a loyal following through refined craftsmanship and thoughtful design. With a strong foundation already in place, and a retail store in Paddington, the next step was to bring greater strategic clarity to the brand’s creative direction and growth plans. The business was ready to formalise its tone of voice, align its visual storytelling, and shape a more structured approach to product development, all while preserving the authenticity and artistic integrity that made Elph unique.

I partnered with the founders to help translate their vision into a brand framework that could support future growth. This involved articulating Elph’s tone of voice, refining the brand’s visual and verbal identity, and providing creative direction for photography and content, that would translate into a range of stunning assets for our marketing & PR efforts.
As part of our engagement reviewed the customer journey, aligned on key emotional and functional brand messages, and worked to create more consistency across owned channels, from product naming and storytelling through to the look and feel of campaigns and catalogue assets.
We worked across 2 content shoots, one studio and one location, to create a range of web, editorial and lifestyle images that we could use to create awareness and engagement for their stunning handcrafted ceramics.


Product Development Focus
Alongside brand alignment, we evaluated the existing product range and explored opportunities for commercial expansion. This included advising on new product categories, pricing architecture, cadence of release, and production, all while maintaining the integrity of small-batch craftsmanship and a tightly held brand aesthetic.

Outcomes
Our work created structure and momentum for the next phase of Elph Ceramics' growth.
Key Results:
Developed a unified brand identity and tone of voice, now applied across all digital and printed channels
Delivered two seasonal photoshoots generating over 200 high-quality lifestyle and product images for use across web, catalogue, PR and social media
Improved conversion and engagement through refined storytelling, product naming, and clearer navigation
Strengthened brand equity and alignment ahead of expansion into new retail partnerships and product lines
