After finally recovering from jetlag and a minor cold, this week I’m very excited to be meeting with local entrepreneur Sandra Chapman. Sandra has been running her own cake business Copy Cat Cakes as a side project now for over a year and is now taking it full-time. I’m going to be helping her develop a website to showcase her amazing skills and assist her with some of my marketing expertise. Her cake designs are incredible as you can see below and they taste pretty good too. Hopefully she’ll have some goodies waiting for me!
So after a lot of talk I’ve put together a short-list of my favourite tried and tested breakfast hangs in Sydney. The key criteria is that they have to have an interesting menu, I don’t want to eat what I’d normally cook at home, and good coffee is an obvious one too! Service and atmosphere are also important, but the latter over the former. I can overlook the occasional F&B faux pas (such as clearing someone’s plate before everyone is finished) if everything else is up to scratch.
Here’s a new one from Beck that won’t disappoint. ”Looking for a Sign” is typical of his more laid back but not quite country vibe. This tune has been released for a new movie Jeff, Who Lives at Home by Jay and Mark Dupless and starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms and Judy Greer. So sit back, put up your feet, and enjoy this one with a glass of scotch.
